Maison Maurice Grumier is situated in Venteuil, just a few kilometres from Epernay, the capital of Champagne. The Grumier family's winemaking history dates back to 1743, the same era as that of the major Champagne Houses. Fabien cultivates the domaine's 8.5 hectares of vines which are split between 29 different crus and planted primarily with Pinot Meunier, the undisputed King of the Vallée de la Marne. Domaine GRUMIER is committed to using eco-friendly growing practices and is one of the domaines using the lowest levels of treatment on its crops in the whole of the Champagne region, as measured by the Treatment Frequency Index. It was also one of the first wine domaines to be awarded High Environmental Value Level 3 certification. Champagne Grumier's signature style lies in the exceptional quality of its barrel vinification process.
