Located in Monthélie, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine POTINET-AMPEAU has been in the family for five generations. Today, two generations work on the estate: Chantal Durrieu and her son Vincent Durrieu, who took over the running of the estate in 2002. Using sustainable growing methods, the 10 hectares of vineyards are spread over the villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Auxey-Duresses, Volnay, Pommard and Monthélie. The domaine produces 18 Côte-de-Beaune appellations between Pommard and Puligny-Montrachet, half white and half red. Wines for laying down, traditional work, (18 months ageing for the red and 22 months for the white), non participation in wine competitions or any other promotion as the wines do not meet the expectations of wine competitions due to the fact that they need to age before being tasted.
