Domaine des Chambris was set up in Chevannes, in the Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits, in 2000 and is one of those new kinds of wine businesses that are both négociants and vineyard-owners. Pierre Laurent and his partner purchased about 17 hectares of vineyards in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits and also vinify bought-in grapes to complete their range. It produces Hautes-Côtes de Nuits whites and reds as well as Crémants de Bourgogne.
