Born into a family of winemakers since the 15th century (1453), Jean-François BERSAN and his son Pierre-Louis have carried on the family tradition at the head of the estate situated in Saint-Bris le Vineux, between Auxerre and Chablis. The estate cultivates a surface area of 20 hectares, 13 hectares of white and 7 of red. It offers a large range of Burgundy, Côte d'Auxerre, Chablis, Irancy and Saint-Bris wines, the latter appellation has the particularity of being the only wine in Burgundy produced with Sauvignon grapes. Once bottled, the wines are stored and matured in the vaulted and labyrinth-like cellars dating from the 11th and 12th century situated in the centre of the village.
