The estate

Domaine PANSIOT is located in Corgoloin, between Beaune and Nuits-Saint-Georges where the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune separate. In the times of the Dukes of Burgundy, this wine village enjoyed great renown with many châteaux and manor houses. Eric PANSIOT started out on his own with 4 Ha in 1981. In 2001, he created a SCEA (agricultural company) with two partners: his wife Chantal Pansiot and welshman Marc Thomson.
They had 15 hectares at the time.
In July 2005, Eric's daughter, Emilie, joined them. They then acquired prestigious plots of vines in the communes of Meursault, Gevrey-Chambertin, Beaune, Chorey-les-Beaune and Savigny-les-Beaune. The domaine continued to grow and today has 21 ha and 19 different appellations. Visitors are received and offered tastings in an 18th-century vaulted cellar, typically of Burgundy.
