Patrick Duvernay has helped out in the Rully vineyards since his childhood and later joined his father and brother on the estate. After working with his family for 20 years, Patrick struck out on his own in order to manage the vineyards the way he wanted and to create something from scratch. In 2005, he and his wife Sophie established the "Domaine de la Renaissance" and started making a living from their genuine passion for the vine and wine. The sustainably-managed 15-hectare estate spans the Mercurey, Rully, Bouzeron and Pommard appellations. This well-matched and very driven couple produce a range of wines that are in keeping with their taste: delicious and generous, and epitomising the excellence of the great fine wines of Burgundy.
