Domaine du Colombier is located in Fontenay-près-Chablis, a small town northeast of Chablis. This Domaine is a family property founded in 1887 and handed down through 5 generations. The Domaine produces the 4 AOCs from the Chablis region - Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. Currently, the three MOTHE brothers, Jean-Louis, Vincent and Thierry, the winemaker, work 51 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are planted exclusively with Chardonnay and produce crisp, clear and light dry white wines.
